So, you are a huge Ragnarok Online player, and for whatever reason (party, bar, class, wedding, funeral,
etc.) you are nowhere near your computer. You have this persistent, nagging voice inside your head, beseeching you to
raise your Alchemist's Axe Mastery skill to level 8 right now, what can you do?
Thankfully, SkyZone Entertaining is here to quench your thirst, by bringing Ragnarok Online to the mobile
market. Coming to North America in early 2006 (South Korean players have had this feature since 2002), cell phone users
will be able to level up their characters wherever they have reception. Is anyone familiar to the South Korean service?
This seems ripe for some clever hackers looking to make quick character builds.

This game should be released for Nintendo DS. It would be perfect going along with the WI-FI connection.

Fcuk. Addiction to its full extend. *Always* be connected to your character. This kind of feature could be really useful in EVE Online (or in any MMO where you can have a shop).

If my memory serves me correctly, the ragnarok online cell phone was NOT the actual game!
Rather it was like a side quest(think it was called 'Kafra Quest') that players could play/complete to recieve awards for their online characters.

Oh boy... next it's gonna be portable WoW... what's the gaming industry thinking? They're gonna ruin the economy 'cause people are gonna be to busy playing MMO's to live a life.

It would have to be a side quest, because cell phones aren't always connected. If u connected to a cell-MMO and ur cell company charged u for minutes, it would be astronomical. Its just not feasable.
Either that or the battery will die at the worst time.

I believe that Marc (#3) is correct. I was playing RO back in 2002 and remember news about the Kafra Quest (or whatever it was called). There was never a way to play Ragnarok Online... online, with your cell phone back in 2002.
