EGM interviews Nintendo's Reggie

What could be the additional Revolution "secrets" that Nintendo has alluded to in the past? Well maybe it's a camera and/or microphone (karaoke anyone?) according to a recent interview of Nintendo VP Reggie Fils-Aime. In response EGM's question about the Revolution's online play, Fils-Aime was quoted as saying: "I would think [it’ll be similar to the DS]. Again, that’s been part of our [plan] in creating an environment that is more friend and peer-to-peer based, versus simply, I wanna go take on everybody for certain types of games."

Doubtful that a camera and microphone will be a big unveiling, but anything is better than the continued ON speculation that just never seems to go away.

Dude. It;s 'alluded' in this case. 'Eludeded' means 'avoided' or 'escaped.'

'Alluded' means 'hinted at.'

I hope Sony dishes a crapload of news soon so Nintendo has to counter with some news....

it would be nice to have SOME KIND OF NEWS from ONE of these companies at least...

Why don't they ask him the tough questions a la Peter Moore... IE- Where is Zelda: Twilight Princess?

Online will suck. If it's going to be ANYTHING like their last few online blunders (ACWW and MKDS), Revolution's online will officially suck.

No, Nitnendo said they'll wait and see. They waited and saw Xbox Live take off. So now they're getting into it.

I don't have a problem with friend codes. I don't expect a deep online system for a handheld, especially when it's the first online game from a company that has never really done online before.

They know that people don't like freind codes, and they've said they are trying to work around the different-code-for-different-game thing on the DS, so I doubt they'll be used with the Rev. But if it's between Xbox Live and DS WFC, then of course he's going to say DS.
